"Mr. "Gale haa cancer, and proceeds from the concert are to go toward his medical expenses." (Eric Gale died 18 days later) GW contributes "Let It Flow (For Dr. J.)"" and "Mr. Magic". A video of "Mr. Magic" is available, too.

In 2007 Concord Records announced the release of Grover's first and only Monterey appearence. Allmusic review: "Backed by a small, sympathetic band, Washington's saxophones (soprano, alto, and tenor) shine on his own hits and on versions of AM-radio pop classics." Although the cd got a release number (30314), Concord Records post-poned its release. Looks like it has to remain in the shelves of the Concord label.
